Co-Immunoprecipitation (Co-IP) (CAT#: STEM-MB-0154-WXH)

Introduction

Co-Immunoprecipitation (Co-IP) is a classic method for studying protein interactions based on the specific interaction between antibodies and antigens. A powerful method for determining the physiological interaction of two proteins in intact cells. When cells are lysed under non-denaturing conditions, many protein-protein interactions present in cells are preserved.
Co-IP is a method commonly used to determine whether two target proteins bind in vivo, and can also be used to screen for binding proteins of a specific protein.

Applications

Determining whether two target proteins bind in vivo;
Screening for binding proteins to a specific protein

Procedure

1.Antibody Conjugation
2.Bait protein Immobilization
3.Prey protein Capture
4.Elute
5.Detection(Western Blot/MS)

Notes

Customer provide the information of the target protein and the samples to be tested.
