Gene Extraction and Vector Construction

Gene extraction is one of the most important steps in genomics research and is the basis for studying the DNA sequence and other properties of the genome. The principle of gene extraction is to use chemical and physical methods to destroy the cell wall and membrane, so that DNA is released from the cell, and through a series of steps to purify and concentrate DNA. Common methods of gene extraction include extraction, magnetic separation, ultrasound, staining and centrifugation. Vector construction is one of the common methods in molecular biology research. Relying on the action of restriction endonucleases, DNA ligases and other modifying enzymes, the target gene and vector DNA are appropriately cut and modified respectively. Then the two are connected together and introduced into the host cell to achieve the correct expression of the target gene in the host cell.
