Microcentrifuge

A centrifuge is a laboratory equipment used for the separation of heterogeneous mixtures or samples. It is driven by a motor, which spins liquid samples at high speed. There are various types of centrifuges, depending on the size and the sample capacity. Microcentrifuges are designed for use with small sample sizes such as microtubes. Microcentrifuges are used for spinning liquid samples as low as 2 ml or even less at high speeds. The products differ depending upon the sample tube size and the number of sample tubes the microcentrifuges can hold in a run.
