Vacuum System, Pump & Manifold and Accessory

The vacuum system includes the whole range of components, subsystems and processes allowing, when used together, the maintenance of a prescribed vacuum. Vacuum pump is defined as a device that removes gas molecules, or water molecules from a particular enclosed space and leaves a vacuum behind. Vacuum manifolds, also known as Schlenk lines, are commonly used for the final drying of samples removed from a rotary evaporator. Some accessories are used with vacuum pumps and manifolds to improve and enhance vacuum processing operations.
