Thermo-Mechanical Analysis

Thermomechanical analysis (TMA) measures the change of the size or shape of the sample in a certain direction, while the sample is under a controlled temperature program, and applied with a certain mechanical force. This technique is one of the more important thermal analysis methods, and it is a good supplement to perfect DSC, TGA and DMA methods.
