Most research depends on the transfer of measured liquid or a sample volumes. This transfer technique is often employed up to several times per hour. Laboratory dispensers provide a simple means of storing and dispensing liquid and other materials in the laboratory. Common dispensers include bottletop dispensers and burettes, which are available in a variety of types including analog, digital, rotating, reciprocating, and adjustable. Among them, the burette dispensers are used for the volumetric transfer of reagents for titration. They consist of a calibrated barrel, a delivery tip, and a valve (stopcock).
