Gastric Cancer Animal Model (CAT#: STEM-AE-0092-WXH)

Introduction

Gastric cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors, accounting for about 50% of malignant tumors in the digestive tract. The pathogenesis of gastric cancer is closely related to factors such as gastric mucosal injury, nitroso compound attack, and Helicobacter pylori infection. It is a process of occurrence and development that combines multiple factors and multiple stages. Therefore, the establishment of gastric cancer models is crucial for the research and prevention of gastric cancer.

Applications

Research on the pathogenesis of gastric cancer and drug development.

Procedure

• Induced gastric cancer model: N-methyl-N'-nitro-nitrosoguanidine (MNNG) and methylcholanthrene (MC) are commonly used.
• Transplanted gastric cancer model:
CDX model (cell-line-derived xenograft)-- inoculate human-derived gastric cancer cell lines into immunodeficient mice.
PDX model (patient-derived xenograft)--inoculate gastric cancer tissue blocks from patients To immunodeficient mice.
• Gastric cancer models in genetically engineered mice: including Tff1 knockout mice, INS-GAS transgenic mice, Gp130 mutant mice, H/K-ATPase:IL-1β transgenic mice and K-Ras transgenic mice.
