The XFMD-3205K is a compact touchscreen gold purity tester for jewelry and precious-metal analysis. It determines density using the Archimedes water-displacement method. The instrument is suitable for banks, pawnshops, jewelry businesses, and research laboratories. Its 0.005 g minimum weighing level supports testing of relatively small specimens. Measurement results are shown directly on the large LCD. Temperature and solution-density compensation can be entered for improved method suitability. Upper and lower density thresholds support rapid quality classification. A buzzer provides audible operating feedback. RS232C communication, an internal battery, and a draft shield provide flexible data handling and portable use.
