Description

The SSMB system is designed for continuous chromatographic separation and purification. It uses a configurable multizone architecture in which the number of columns in each zone can be adjusted. This modular arrangement supports laboratory development, pilot processing, and industrial-scale production. Continuous feeding, product collection, impurity discharge, and stationary-phase regeneration replace conventional batch cycling. Dynamic simulated countercurrent movement improves resin utilization and process productivity. Intelligent valve matrices coordinate zone pressure, flow rate, and eluent composition. Online ultraviolet, refractive-index, conductivity, and other compatible detectors can support closed-loop process monitoring. Product-contact flow paths can be manufactured from food-grade 316L stainless steel or Hastelloy. The system can be adapted for isomer, chiral compound, natural-product, and other complex separations. Column diameter, height, pressure rating, zone configuration, and total capacity can be customized.
