Description

The KJ341-2 SBS-standard cryogenic storage tube is designed for automated biobanking and cryogenic sample management in research and clinical laboratories. It complies with ANSI/SLAS SBS footprint standards, making it fully compatible with liquid handling workstations, automated freezers, and robotic sample management systems. Each tube is encoded with an internationally standardized DataMatrix 2D barcode, enabling precise individual sample identification and traceability. The corresponding SBS-format storage rack supports both 8×12 and 6×8 array configurations, with rack-level barcodes and linear codes for multi-level tracking. Tubes are manufactured by two-color injection molding using high-purity medical-grade raw materials, ensuring reliable chemical resistance and structural integrity. The manufacturing process is completed entirely within an ISO-class controlled cleanroom, ensuring consistent product quality. The tube is available in both internal-thread and external-thread cap configurations to suit a range of handling and automation requirements. It supports storage in liquid nitrogen vapor phase and is rated for a temperature range of -196°C to 121°C, covering most cryogenic and autoclave conditions. The tube base and cap carry integrated codes that together with the box code provide a comprehensive three-code identification system.
