Analysis of α-Ketoglutarate Dehydrogenase(α-KGDH) Activity by Enzyme-labeled Instrument (CAT#: STEM-MB-1382-LGZ)

Introduction

Sensitivity: 8.3 U/L
Detection range: 8.3-42.3 U/L
Precision: inter-lot difference of 8.5%, intra-lot difference of 1.5%
Detection equipment: Enzyme-labeled Instrument
Detection wavelength: 440-460 nm

Principle

α-ketoglutarate dehydrogenase (α-KGDH) is a key enzyme in the tricarboxylic acid cycle. α-KGDH catalyzes the conversion of substrates and NAD+ into NADH and products, and NADH converts WST-8 into chromogenic substances through hydrogen-transferring substances. The absorbance of α-KGDH can be measured at the wavelength of 450 nm.

Applications

It is suitable for the determination of α-ketoglutarate dehydrogenase (α-KGDH) activity in serum plasma, animal and plant tissue samples.

Procedure

1. Prepare standard samples and experimental samples.
2. Add reaction reagents in order for reaction.
3. Measure the absorbance of each tube.
4. Make the mark curve and calculate the result.

Materials

• Sample Type: serum plasma, animal and plant tissue samples
