TRB GF Pleated Filter Cartridge, 4.2 bar (CAT#: STEM-BC-2877-ZJF)

This pleated filter cartridge is designed for high-flow removal of contaminants from liquids and gases. It uses an ultrafine borosilicate glass-fiber composite membrane with strong adsorption capability. The pleated construction increases the available surface area and contaminant-holding capacity. Polypropylene support and flow-distribution layers reinforce the filter media during operation. Thermal welding forms the cartridge without adhesives and helps prevent media release. High particle-removal efficiency is combined with a relatively low operating pressure drop. The cartridge is particularly suitable for clarification of viscous liquids and fluids containing colloidal material. It can be used for serum, vaccines, culture media, protein solutions, wine, syrup, oils, catalysts, viscose, and chemical-fiber process fluids. Gas applications include dust removal and upstream prefiltration.
