The Recombinant Human GM-CSF Protein manufactured by Seafrom is suitable for stimulating growth and differentiation of granulocytes and macrophages. Granulocyte-Macrophage Colony-Stimulating Factor (GM-CSF) is a hematopoietic growth factor that, in vitro, can stimulate the formation of colonies of neutrophils and macrophages. It also promotes the proliferation and development of early erythrocyte and eosinophil progenitor cells. GM-CSF was one of the earliest identified cytokines with effects on dendritic cells (DCs). In DC culture, GM-CSF functions to promote the differentiation of monocytes into large macrophage-like cells, increase the expression of cell surface MHC II molecules, and enhance the antigen presentation function of the cells. Additionally, GM-CSF can promote the survival of DCs. The lyophilized formulation can be stored at 2-8°C for 24 months. For reconstitution, it can be dissolved in injection-grade water, physiological saline, culture medium, or PBS. After dissolution, it should be divided into smaller aliquots and stored at -20°C for 6 months or at -80°C for 12 months, with a final concentration after dilution not lower than 100μg/mL. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
