The Recombinant FITC-Labeled Human EGFR/HER1 Protein, His-Avi Tag manufactured by Yisheng is suitable for detecting EGFR/HER1-positive cells in research.
The EGFR (Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor) subfamily of receptor tyrosine kinases comprises four members: EGFR (HER-1), ErbB2, ErbB3, and ErbB4. EGFR binds a subset of the EGF family ligands, including EGF, amphiregulin, TGF-alpha, betacellulin, epiregulin, HB-EGF, and epigen. Ligand binding induces EGFR homodimerization as well as heterodimerization with ErbB2, resulting in kinase activation, heterodimerization, tyrosine phosphorylation, and cell signaling.

Source: Recombinant FITC-Labeled Human EGFR/HER1 Protein is expressed from HEK293 Cells with His tag and Avi tag at the C-terminal. It contains Leu25-Ser645.
Molecular Weight: The protein has a predicted MW of 71.5 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 90-115 kDa based on Tris-Bis PAGE result.
Purity: > 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Endotoxin: < 1.0 EU per 1μg of the protein by the LAL method.
