The Recombinant Human IL-15 Protein manufactured by Seafrom is suitable for proliferation, activation, and survival of T cells and NK cells. Interleukin-15 (IL-15) is a cytokine with a structure similar to IL-2. Like IL-2, IL-15 signals through a complex consisting of the IL-2/IL-15 receptor β chain (CD122) and the common gamma chain (gamma-c, CD132). IL-15 is secreted by monocytes and macrophages, among other cells, typically in response to viral infections. IL-15 can regulate the activation and proliferation of T cells and natural killer (NK) cells. Recombinant human IL-15 protein is a modified form of human IL-15 with increased stability, enhanced activity, an extended half-life, and prolonged potency. The lyophilized formulation can be stored at 2-8°C for 24 months. For reconstitution, it can be dissolved in injection-grade water, physiological saline, culture medium, or PBS. After dissolution, it should be divided into smaller aliquots and stored at -20°C for 6 months or at -80°C for 12 months, with a final concentration after dilution not lower than 100 μg/mL. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
