PTFE Pleated Sterile-Air Filter Cartridge, 0.01-10 µm (CAT#: STEM-BC-2916-ZJF)

This PTFE pleated cartridge is designed for filtration of gases and chemically aggressive liquids. It uses a PTFE membrane supported by imported flow-distribution layers and a polypropylene cage or optional stainless steel liner. Pleating, edge sealing, core fixation, outer-cage assembly, and end-cap fusion produce an integrated cartridge. The construction contains no adhesive and is designed to prevent filtration-media shedding. Natural hydrophobic and modified hydrophilic membrane versions are available. Hydrophobic media are suitable for sterile-air and gas filtration, while hydrophilic media can process compatible liquids. Hydrophobic cartridges require prewetting with ethanol or isopropanol before aqueous filtration. The membrane provides broad chemical compatibility and resistance to high temperature and ozone. Every cartridge undergoes integrity testing before release.
