Protein Full-spectrum Analysis to identify component (CAT#: STEM-MB-0099-WXH)

Introduction

Protein full-spectrum analysis can also be called mass spectrometry shotgun analysis, which refers to component analysis, which can identify as many peptides and protein molecules as possible. Protein full-spectrum analysis can provide reference information for high-throughput protein quantification and modification analysis. The mixture samples contain complete proteins with different molecular weights, different solubility and different modifications. Therefore, when performing full mass spectrometry identification of proteins, the samples are digested into polypeptide fragments by enzymatic digestion, and the samples are identified by shotgun proteomics. Shotgun proteomics works by digesting a protein sample into peptides, which are then separated by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The separated peptides go directly to the mass spectrometer for analysis.

Applications

The analysis of protein types in complex samples: suitable for the analysis of protein components in complex samples such as biological tissues, blood and microorganisms, especially for the study of the overall law or specific proteins of proteins in a specific physiological state.

Procedure

1. Protein extraction
2. Proteolysis
3. HPLC group analysis
4. Mass spectrometry analysis
5. Data analysis
