Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs) Identification (CAT#: STEM-CBT-0042-WXH)

Introduction

Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are undifferentiated multipotent cells that possess great potential in tissue regeneration and cell-based therapy due to their multipotency. Application of MSCs requires their isolation and direction of their differentiation into the appropriate lineage.<br />At present, the identification of MSC is mainly through morphological observation (such as fibroblast-like growth, oval nucleus in the center of the cell, and vortex or radial growth when the density is high), and surface marker detection (such as CD29, CD44, etc.) and identification of multilineage differentiation potential.

Applications

• Tissue regeneration
• Cell-based therapy

Procedure

• Immunophenotype analysis
• Tri-lineage Differentiation Potential analysis
• Immunomodulation analysis
• Short Tandem Repeat (STR) analysis
• Karyotype analysis
