Drug-resistant Cell Line Construction (CAT#: STEM-CBT-0036-WXH)

Introduction

Tumor cell resistance to chemotherapeutic drugs is one of the important factors for tumor treatment failure. In vitro establishment of tumor cell drug resistance models is an important tool to study multidrug resistance (MDR) in tumors. The construction of drug-resistant cell lines is to induce tumor cells to develop resistance to specific drugs and kill sensitive cells, thus constructing tumor cell lines that are resistant to specific drugs, and subsequently the resistant cells are multiplied in large numbers to produce progeny with resistance to specific drugs, making the efficacy of the drug substantially reduced.<br />The main known ways to establish drug-resistant cell lines in vitro are as follows: high-dose drug shock method, drug concentration increment method, drug concentration increment combined with high-dose drug shock method, transgenic combined with drug screening method, and some people use retroviral transfection method.
