circRNA Sequencing (CAT#: STEM-MB-0046-WXH)

Introduction

Circular RNA (circRNA) is a special class of RNA molecules, and it is also a research hotspot in the field of RNA. Different from traditional linear RNA (including 5' and 3' ends), circRNA molecules have a closed circular structure, are not affected by RNA exonucleases, and are more stable in expression and difficult to degrade.<br />circRNA plays an important regulatory role in the growth and development of organisms, the occurrence and development of diseases, and the resistance to the external environment. Due to the closed circular nature of circRNA, by removing rRNA and linear RNA molecules in total RNA, circRNA molecules can be specifically enriched and then sequenced. In this way, the specific circRNA profiles, circRNA splicing patterns, group differences and molecular functions in the tested samples can be analyzed more targetedly.

Applications

• Profiling circRNAs and prediction of target genes
• Identification of biomarkers for diagnostics and classification of cancer or diseases
• Exploration of regulatory networks between ncRNA and miRNA
• Understanding the mechanisms of tissue or organism development based on transcript profiles

Procedure

1. Ribosome Removal
2. Strand-specific library construction
3. Sequencing
4. Data analysis

Notes

Customers provide qualified tissue, cell, body fluid or total RNA samples.
