4. Four methods predefined in the BD facsmmicrocount software can automatically test performance criteria, E. coli, product screening and reclaimed water testing.
5. Automate sample processing by programming parameters for injection, dispensing, mixing, and data acquisition.

7. The BD facsmmicrocount cell counter can load up to 42 samples at a time from four sample trays. Both the tray and the tray block are magnetized, so when the tray is loaded into the instrument, it is automatically detected.
8. Label microorganisms with nucleic acid-specific fluorescent dyes and prepare samples for analysis. Proprietary BRAG3 labeling compounds are used with nucleic acid dyes as reactive stains. It reduces the fluorescence intensity of membrane damaged cells, and background counts due to foreign debris are also reduced.
