Anti-Human CD28 mAb, Seafrom (CAT#: STEM-CT-0005-ZJF)

The Anti-Human CD28 mAb manufactured by Seafrom is suitable for co-stimulation of T cells to enhance their activation and proliferation in cell therapy.
CD28 is a molecule present on the surface of most T cells and is considered a T cell-specific surface molecule. The reactivity of T cells to antigens is primarily mediated by the CD3/TCR complex but also relies on the cooperation of other surface molecules on T cells. T cells can be effectively activated through various pathways, including CD3/TCR, CD2, and CD28.
Individual nucleated cells isolated from peripheral blood, bone marrow, or cord blood, when cultured for a certain period in the presence of CD3, CD28 monoclonal antibodies, and various cytokines, can yield a substantial proliferation of T lymphocytes.
Soluble method: It is recommended to use a concentration of 500ng/mL. Under these conditions, cells can achieve sufficient activation and stimulation, leading to a significant increase in cell proliferation and the final CD3+CD56+ double-positive rate.
Coating method: Coat a T75 flask with 10mL of PBS buffer (5μg/mL anti-human CD28) at 4°C overnight. Before use, remove the PBS buffer and wash three times with physiological saline.
Storage: Store at 2~8°C with a shelf life of 24 months. If needed for aliquoting, aliquots can be stored at -20°C for 6 months or at -80°C for 12 months, avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
