Vertical Constant Temperature Shaking Incubator OLB-SL20-L, Floor Standing Configuration (CAT#: STEM-AL2-2355-ZJF)

The vertical constant temperature shaking incubator combines a heated and refrigerated chamber with an orbital shaking platform. Cultures grown in flasks need both a controlled temperature and continuous mixing, which this instrument supplies together. Because the cabinet stands on the floor, a larger number of flasks can be accommodated than in a bench model. Side vent ports are provided so that aerobic cultures continue to receive enough oxygen during a long run. If the supply is interrupted the controller resumes work with the stored settings once power returns. Opening the door stops the platform immediately, then the previous conditions continue after it is closed. The viewing window is heated, so condensate does not form on the glass while the chamber is cold. A ultraviolet lamp is available for treating the chamber between runs, and its operating time can be set. Optional extras include a micro printer and a serial interface for taking data to another system.
