This sintered cartridge is designed for vacuum loaders and demanding industrial filtration systems. It is manufactured from industrially pure titanium powder through high-temperature vacuum sintering. The resulting inorganic depth structure contains interconnected and tortuous pores. Particles are retained within these pores through depth-filtration and bridging mechanisms. The titanium construction provides resistance to many strong acids, strong alkalis, and organic solvents. It can operate at temperatures up to 300°C under suitable process conditions. High mechanical strength supports pressure-driven filtration and repeated regeneration. The cartridge can be cleaned by water backwashing, steam backblowing, ultrasonic treatment, acid washing, or alkaline washing.
