Titanium Alloy Temperature Sensor PT1000, PT1000 Platinum Resistance Element (CAT#: STEM-AL2-1440-ZJF)

This product is a PT1000 platinum resistance temperature sensor supplied as a component for microwave instruments. It provides direct contact measurement of the temperature inside a reaction vessel. The sensing element is a platinum resistance with a nominal resistance of 1000 ohms at the reference temperature. The sheath is made from titanium alloy, which resists corrosion and remains mechanically stable during repeated heating cycles. Titanium also couples weakly with the microwave field, which limits disturbance of the measurement. The sensor is intended for use with microwave synthesis, hydrothermal and digestion platforms that accept a PT1000 input. It is installed so that the tip is in contact with the reaction medium while the connection remains outside the cavity. The sensor is reusable and should be cleaned after each experiment. Periodic verification of the reading is recommended to maintain measurement confidence.
