TCABC ACF Wound Adsorption Filter Cartridge, 4.2 bar (CAT#: STEM-BC-2867-ZJF)

This wound cartridge combines activated carbon fiber with glass-fiber or polypropylene filtration media. The activated carbon fiber provides a large specific surface area for rapid adsorption of dissolved contaminants. The surrounding filtration layers increase dirt-holding capacity and support removal of oils and suspended particles. An ultrafine polypropylene layer around the center core helps prevent carbon particles from entering the filtrate. Polypropylene structural components are assembled by thermal welding without adhesives. The cartridge provides simultaneous adsorption and particulate filtration in one unit. It is suitable for removing residual chlorine, odors, colorants, benzene, selected heavy-metal ions, and organic contaminants. Typical applications include water purification, acidic or alkaline solutions, organic solvents, beverage decolorization, and oil-treatment processes.
