Targeted Metabolic Flux Analysis for quantitation (CAT#: STEM-MB-0106-WXH)

Introduction

Targeted metabolic flux analysis (MFA) based on 13C or 15N labeling can systematically quantify the flux distribution of specific metabolic pathways in cells or tissues and the relative contribution of each metabolic pathway.
In many cases, it can not only visually indicate the overall trend of metabolic flow, but also accurately and quantitatively reveal the activity of each metabolic reaction in the cell, and deeply understand various complex intracellular metabolic processes such as parallel reactions and reversible reactions.
It can intuitively reveal the main active pathways in the cell, the relative contribution of each pathway and its distribution characteristics, so as to identify the markers and key main metabolic pathways for early diagnosis of the occurrence and development of related diseases.

Applications

• Revealing the main metabolic pathways and markers for early diagnosis in the occurrence and development of related diseases.
• Identification of key metabolic pathways and activities of genetically engineered bacteria.
• Comparative analysis of metabolic function changes of cells, tissues, blood samples and urine before and after genetic modification.

Procedure

1. Isotope labeling culture
2. Sample detection
3. Data processing
