The Shandon AS620 cryogenic refrigerator features an open top design that helps minimize temperature gain over extended periods of use. The AS620 Cyrostrat features a convenient flat area on top of the instrument, a clever feature to help optimize your lab work area.

The front wheels are retractable to help increase stability. For security, a key lock can be used to secure the control panel. The Shandon AS620 cryogenic refrigerator also features a convenient flywheel with three position deadlock lever.

The AS620 mounted microscanner is accurate yet light enough to operate to provide a balanced feel throughout the range of advanced mechanisms.

Knife Holder The knife holder accepts both knives and disposable cartridges, while the advanced mechanism allows 0 to 30 micron selection in 1 micron steps.

The microtome is located outside the cold working environment, the refrigeration system uses efficient rapid cooling technology and a frost-free freezer compartment. The heat dissipation temperature of the AS620 can reach -35°C (when the ambient temperature is 20°C), and it has a fast defrosting function.
