Seplife LXPM Ni 5504 IDA Affinity Medium, ≥25 mg His Protein/mL (CAT#: STEM-BC-3124-ZJF)

Highlights

High ≥25 mg/mL capacity
IDA nickel-chelating ligand
Selective His-tag binding

Cat Number: STEM-BC-3124-ZJF

Application: for high-capacity His-tagged protein purification

Model: Seplife® LXPM Ni 5504 IDA

Description

This immobilized-metal affinity medium is designed for purification of His-tagged recombinant proteins and compatible metal-binding molecules. It uses a polymethyl methacrylate matrix with a hydrophilic surface modification. IDA chelating groups immobilize nickel ions on the particle surface. Histidine-containing proteins bind selectively to the coordinated nickel during chromatography. The medium can also process compatible peptides, nucleotides, and phosphorylated proteins. Its 1000 Å pore structure supports transport of biological macromolecules into the particles. The rigid 80 µm particles provide high mechanical stability and recommended linear flow up to 800 cm/h. The stated His-protein capacity of at least 25 mg/mL supports preparative affinity purification.
