The Recombinant Human DNAM-1 Protein manufactured by Seafrom is suitable for immune cell activation and cytotoxicity. DNAX accessory molecule 1 (DNAM-1), also known as CD226 antigen and platelet and T cell activation antigen 1 (PTA1), is a single-pass type I membrane protein that contains 2 Ig-like C2-type (immunoglobulin-like) domains. DNAM-1 is a ~65 kDa glycoprotein expressed on the surface of natural killer cells, platelets, monocytes, and a subset of T cells. DNAM-1 plays a crucial role in mediating cellular adhesion to other cells that express its ligands, CD112 and CD155. Cross-linking DNAM-1 with antibodies results in cellular activation. Additionally, DNAM-1 can interact with PVR and PVRL2. Storage Information: Lyophilized samples can be stored at 4°C for 24 months. Once reconstituted, the liquid can be stored at -20°C for 6-12 months, with care taken to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
