Endotoxin Removal Filter Cartridge, ≥10,000 EU/cm² (CAT#: STEM-BC-2835-ZJF)

This endotoxin-removal filter cartridge is designed to reduce bacterial endotoxins in pharmaceutical and biological process liquids. It uses a functionalized membrane or adsorption medium with positively charged groups to capture negatively charged lipopolysaccharides. Physical size exclusion can supplement the charge-based adsorption mechanism depending on the selected construction. The cartridge can reduce endotoxin concentrations while limiting adsorption of proteins, antibodies, and other desired products. A pleated configuration provides a large effective area for high flow and high binding capacity. Modified polyethersulfone, nylon, or cellulose media can be selected according to process requirements. The chemically stable functional groups support operation across a broad pH range and compatibility with cleaning procedures. Available pore ratings can combine endotoxin removal with sterilizing-grade particle and microorganism retention. The cartridge is intended for water for injection, injectable solutions, vaccines, culture media, buffers, recombinant proteins, and other high-purity preparations.
