Central carbon metabolism (CCM) high-throughput detection (CAT#: STEM-MB-0110-WXH)

Introduction

Central carbon metabolism (CCM) traditionally includes glycolysis pathway (EMP), pentose phosphate pathway (PPP) and tricarboxylic acid cycle pathway (TCA). Central carbon metabolism is the main source of energy required by organisms, and provides precursors for other metabolisms in the body, and the enzyme activities and protein expression levels of key enzymes in CCM are genetically differentiated, similar to phenotypes, and can be used for approximate species identification. Through ion chromatography-mass spectrometry, high-throughput detection of the content of various substances in the carbon metabolism pathway of the sample center can be performed, and the relationship between substances can be determined through data analysis.
