CD5 is one of the cluster differentiation antigens, located on T lymphocytes and some B lymphocytes. CD5 antigen-positive T lymphocytes have signal transduction function, while CD5 antigen-positive B lymphocytes are closely related to disease occurrence in addition to immune function. Therefore, CD5 detection can be used clinically to identify etiology, make diagnosis and determine treatment.
