The Viruclear™ PDT pre-virus filter uses a combination of cellulose, diatomaceous earth, and nylon in a depth filter configuration. It is designed for laboratory, pilot, and production-scale filtration, with filter areas ranging from 4.5 cm² to 1.1 m². Components include needle filters and disposable capsule membranes, with silicone, polypropylene, or glass-fiber reinforced polypropylene fittings. It is suitable for virus clearance validation and process development of complex biologics.
