Thermo Nicolet IS5 FTIR with ID3 germanium ATR attachment. Includes laptop, software, ID3 ATR with germanium tablet (solid), and germanium tank (liquid). The system has been fully tested to meet factory specifications for energy ratio, noise and wavelength accuracy. Germanium ATR is great for dark colored polymers, rubber, etc., which are often difficult to measure with ZnSe or Diamond ATR. This cell is suitable for liquids that can be measured very quickly (e.g. methanol). The system is designed to be user-friendly, primarily for QA/QC applications, with minimal installation time.
