The SX2-5-12 is a medium-capacity box resistance furnace for high-temperature laboratory work. It can be used for elemental determination, sample ashing, and heat treatment of small metal components. The 7.2 L chamber supports moderate sample volumes. A 5 kW high-temperature resistance system provides heating up to the rated 1200°C. Refractory insulation limits thermal loss and reduces empty-furnace electricity consumption. The coated cold-rolled steel body provides mechanical strength and corrosion resistance. PID control maintains the operating temperature and an LED display presents set and measured values. A separately installed controller allows flexible arrangement of the furnace within the working area.
