The SX2-2.5-12LT and SX2-2.5-12LTP are compact ceramic-fiber furnaces for high-temperature sample processing. They can be used for elemental determination, ashing, and thermal treatment of small metal components. The furnace body is welded from cold-rolled steel and finished with an electrostatic coating. Its stainless-steel side-opening door resists corrosion and aging. Ceramic-fiber insulation reduces heat loss and shortens the temperature-rise period. High-temperature resistance wire embedded in the chamber wall promotes even heat distribution. PID control maintains the selected temperature within the stated accuracy and displays values on an LCD. Automatic door-open power interruption improves safety, and the LTP model provides 30-stage programmable control.
