The sterile gridded membrane is designed for membrane filtration microbiology and colony counting. It is made from mixed cellulose ester material and is available in 0.22 μm and 0.45 μm pore sizes. White and black membrane options support visual contrast for different colony colors. The surface grid helps identify and count colonies without interfering with colony growth. Single sterile packaging supports direct use and reduces secondary contamination risk. Continuous strip packaging can be used with a membrane dispenser to improve filtration efficiency. The automatic membrane dispenser uses infrared sensing or button operation to dispense membranes. The system is suitable for routine microbiological testing workflows.
