Silver Membrane Filters manufactured by GVS Group are composed entirely of 99.97% pure metallic silver to provide excellent chemical resistance and high temperature characteristics. Orientation of the membrane can be important. There is a distinct difference in surface characteristics with one side appearing shinier than the other. The Shinier side upstream is ideal for scanning electron microscopy while the duller side upstream for all other applications and analytical work.
