Introduction

Ribosome display technology is a powerful tool for screening proteins. Under certain conditions, mRNA and protein are bound to ribosomes at the same time to form a "protein-ribosome-mRNA" (PRM) ternary complex in the form of non-covalent bonds. By linking genotype and protein phenotype in Together, the target protein and the corresponding gene sequence are screened from the protein display library using the specific ligand of the target protein.
