PTFE Magnetic Stir Bar Retriever, 200-450 mm Length (CAT#: STEM-BC-3489-ZJF)

This PTFE magnetic retrieval rod is designed for recovering magnetic stir bars from laboratory containers. The retrieval head contains a permanent magnet and a stainless-steel internal rod. Its outer surface is fully covered with PTFE to isolate the metal components from the sample. The product is available in flexible and rigid rod configurations. Flexible rods are offered in lengths from 300 mm to 450 mm. Rigid rods are offered in lengths from 200 mm to 350 mm. The PTFE exterior resists strong acids, strong alkalis, and many organic solvents. It also provides high-temperature resistance, low friction, nonstick performance, and low-temperature toughness.
