PROTEINDEX™ HiBond™ Ni-NTA agarose uses 4% agarose as a matrix carrier and is functionalized with a chelating ligand NTA (nittilotriacetic Acid). NTA is charged with nickel ions (Ni2+) to form a nickel ion-centered Stable octahedral structure. The structure of the Ni-NTA complex is a compatible solution containing a certain concentration of reducing agent, denaturant, detergent and other additives.

PROTEINDEX™ HiBond™ Ni-NTA Agarose can be used to purify 6xHis-tagged proteins expressed in various hosts, such as E.coli. , yeast, insect cells and mammalian cells.
