Polypropylene Security Filter Cartridge, 5-10 µm (CAT#: STEM-BC-2825-ZJF)

This polypropylene security filter cartridge is designed for impurity removal during liquid and gas filtration. It is constructed from a fine-fiber filtration layer and supporting flow-distribution layers. The media are pleated to increase the available filtration area within the cartridge structure. Manufacturing includes media edge sealing, installation of the inner core and outer cage, and end-cap welding. The cartridge can be used as a front-end pretreatment element or as a downstream filtration unit. Its polypropylene construction provides compatibility with a broad range of acids, alkalis, alcohols, ketones, dimethylformamide, and phenol. Different retention ratings allow the cartridge to be selected for varying process requirements. Ultrasonic welding eliminates the need for adhesives within the assembled filter. The low-pressure-drop structure supports high flow and extended operating life in water treatment, chemical, pharmaceutical, energy, and environmental processes.
