- Polypropylene Fabric Testing
Polypropylene (PP), also known as polypropene, is a synthetic resin built up by the polymerization of propylene. Polypropylene is the second-most commonly produced plastic in the world next to polyethylene, it is more commonly used in packaging, straws, and other types of consumer and industrial goods than it is in textile production. When used in textile industry, the features of strong, fade-resistant, and inherently stain resistant make polypropylene fiber ideal for upholstery and textile applications. The major advantages of PP fabric are its moisture-wicking property and incredible chemical resistance. Due to its many versatile properties, polypropylene has been used in the production of sportswear, cold weather undergarments, military wear, diapers, ropes, backpacks, and tote bags.
STEMart provides comprehensive polypropylene fabric testing services to provide inspection reports that meet relevant regulations and international standards, thus proving the quality and safety of polypropylene products.
