Plas-Labs 825-UVC PCR Chamber, Plas Labs (CAT#: STEM-PE-1771-LGZ)

The manufacturer of Plas-Labs 825-UVC PCR Chamber is Plas Labs. Model is 825-UVC. The chamber is a "still air chamber" containing fluorescent and germicidal UV lamps. The UV system is rated at 254 nm and the interior of all surfaces will be decontaminated. The front viewing panel is 0.500 (13 mm) thick optically clear material. It is very effective for the protection of 32P-labeled compounds. It works well for beta rays, but not for gamma rays. The front panel is replaceable. Doors are removable.

Sides and back wall are one piece formed of .375 thick acrylic for long term rigidity, durability, and protection.
Bottom tray has a formed in place spill tray.
Main housing and top are removable for installation of large pieces of research equipment.
