This heated vent filter is designed for sterile storage tanks used in pharmaceutical and biological processing. The assembly includes a stainless steel vent housing, insulated heating jacket, and temperature controller. Heating maintains the filter environment above the condensation point during vessel breathing. This helps preserve cartridge airflow and reduces moisture accumulation on the membrane. The double-wall housing and porous insulation improve thermal efficiency. A segmented heating element limits excessive temperature differences across the cartridge length. The integrated safety breaker disconnects the heater if the temperature exceeds 140°C. The equipment is suitable for water-for-injection tanks, purified-water tanks, preparation tanks, and post-sterilization cartridge drying.
