This product is a 9 mm bonded screw cap for wide-opening 2 mL vials. It is configured with red PTFE/white silicone bi-layer septa. The septum is bonded to the cap to provide a secure integrated closure. The 9-425 thread format is compatible with wide-opening 2 mL glass and polypropylene vials. The cap is also suitable for 2 mL micro vials and high recovery vials. The bonded design provides a more secure seal than press-fit cap assemblies. The septa configuration supports GC and HPLC workflows. This model uses 1.0 mm thick septa with 55 Shore A hardness.
