This product is a 9 mm bonded screw cap for chromatography vial closure. It is configured with white PTFE/red silicone bi-layer septa. The bonded cap-septum assembly helps maintain sample integrity by reducing separation of components during use. The 9-425 thread format is compatible with wide-opening 2 mL glass and polypropylene vials. The cap can also be used with 2 mL micro vials and high recovery vials. The bonded design provides a more secure seal than press-fit caps. The septa support GC and HPLC autosampler workflows. This model uses 1.0 mm thick septa with 55 Shore A hardness.
