This product is a black polypropylene 8-425 pre-slit screw cap for chromatography vial applications. It is fitted with red PTFE/white silicone septa. The pre-slit septa format supports easier needle access during autosampler sampling. The ND8 screw closure is compatible with short or standard-opening 2 mL vial formats. The cap can be used with glass vials, polypropylene vials, micro vials, and high recovery vials. It is suitable for GC, GC/MS, LC, LC/MS, and sample preparation workflows. The screw cap format is useful when snap or crimp closures are not suitable. This model uses 1.5 mm thick septa with 45 Shore A hardness.
