Multi-Element Stainless Steel Candle Filter, 0.2-200 µm (CAT#: STEM-BC-2895-ZJF)

This stainless steel candle filter is a closed pressure-filtration system containing multiple reusable tubular filter elements. Process liquid passes through filter cloth from the outside of each element toward the central collection tube. Solids accumulate as a stable filter cake on the shaped external support surface. When the preset differential pressure is reached, residual liquid can be drained and compressed gas can dislodge the cake. The system supports direct filtration, precoat filtration, slurry concentration, cake recovery, and cake washing. Filter aids such as diatomaceous earth, cellulose, perlite, or activated carbon can be added when required. The flower-shaped support structure improves effective area, stabilizes the cake, and helps remove retained liquid. PLC control can automate precoating, filtration, draining, cake discharge, and cleaning. Multiple units can operate in duty-and-standby arrangements for continuous food, pharmaceutical, chemical, water, and oil processing.
